The PS-500 is a 138mm durable metal pop filter. This design does not attenuate high frequencies--as do most fabric screens, the metal screen has a louver-type pattern which allows sound to travel to the mic but diverts air away from the mic element eliminating the “Pop” sounds generated by B and P breaths. The PS-500 has a flexible 12” Gooseneck and clamp that attaches to any mic stand or boom. Due to the metal material used to create this ingenious pop filter, it is extremely easy to clean – just wipe it over with warm water and detergent and you are ready to go.
